Positive Choices for Life was created as an alternative sentencing program by The Frederick County State's Attorney's Office, Juvenile Judges and Deborah Yohn a Certified Prevention Professional.This program was created to educate at risk youth identified in court who would benefit from education in risk reduction and injury prevention. The program is for teens ages 11-18 with charges as follows:

• DWI
• Speeding
• Texting and driving
• Assault
• Behavior issues at school
• Using/dealing drugs
• General education on risk taking behavior

Parents are encouraged to attend with their child and a participation is also encouraged by the parents.
