The ASAP Recorded Class is the fastest and most flexible way to complete your PADDD requirement. Watch the full class on your own time, complete a short written summary, then review the material with a PADDD staff member by phone to receive your court letter.
This class contains the same educational content as PADDD’s live online classes and is accepted by Maryland courts statewide.

What You’ll Learn
PADDD’s prevention program is taught by experienced professionals and individuals personally affected by dangerous driving behaviors.
Topics include:
- Impaired, distracted, aggressive, and reckless driving
- Emergency medical response to serious crashes
- Hospital trauma care and long-term consequences
- Real stories from survivors, EMS personnel, and law enforcement
- Positive strategies for making safer driving decisions

How the ASAP Recorded Class Works
1. Register Online
After registration, you will receive confirmation emails with instructions and a link to the recorded class.
2. Watch the Recorded Class
The recorded class can be watched anytime — day or night — on your phone, tablet, or computer.
- Start and stop as needed
- No live login required
- Approximately 4 hours of class content
All PADDD ASAP classes are held online using GoTo Meeting. Please download and install the app here: https://www.goto.com/download
Note: You do not need to sign into GoTo Meeting to watch the recording.
3. Write a Short Summary
After watching the class, complete a brief written summary that includes:
- The PADDD speakers you learned from
- Important lessons or key takeaways
- How you plan to improve your future driving decisions
Email your summary to:

4. Call PADDD for Your Review
Once your paper is completed, call PADDD staff to review the class and discuss what you learned.
We will ask questions about the course content and speakers before issuing your completion letter.
Total Time Required
The ASAP Recorded Class generally takes about 4.5 hours total, including:
- Watching the recorded class
- Writing the summary paper
- Completing the phone review
Court Letters & Timing
Many participants complete the ASAP class before a scheduled court appearance.
Need Your Letter Fast?
PADDD offers special Monday morning phone hours for participants with same-day court appearances.
